Associated Aboriginal Corporations
The Wanjina-Wunggurr (Native Title) Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC, also known as the Wanjina-Wunggurr PBC, serves as the umbrella native title body for three distinct cultural groups who share common Wanjina Wunggurr ancestors and dreamtime mythology.
Our Cultural Bloc
Together, these three peoples form a cultural bloc known as Wanjina Wunggurr, united by their shared ancestral connections and spiritual traditions. While connected through common heritage, each group maintains its own distinct identity and manages its own country.
The Three Associated Aboriginal Corporations
Dambimangari Aboriginal Corporation
Represents the Worrora/Dambimangari people and manages the administrative and business affairs of their community.
Wunambal Gaambera Aboriginal Corporation
Represents the Wunambal Gaambera/Uunguu people and manages the administrative and business affairs of their community.
Wilinggin Aboriginal Corporation
Represents the Ngarinyin/Wilinggin people and manages the administrative and business affairs of their community.
Native Title Determinations
Three separate native title determinations were made recognizing the traditional ownership of these lands:
Wanjina Wunggurr Dambimangari
The PBC formally holds the native title on behalf of the traditional owners, either as a trustee or as their agent, ensuring all rights are recognized.
Wanjina Wunggurr
Wilinggin
It oversees and safeguards native title rights and interests, making sure they are maintained, respected, and exercised properly across the land.

Uunguu
The PBC makes key decisions regarding the use of native title rights, consulting the right people and ensuring the community's voice is heard in every activity.
Our Structure
The Wanjina-Wunggurr PBC holds and manages the native title rights and interests on behalf of all three groups collectively. It ensures that native title is protected, upheld, and exercised in accordance with both cultural law and statutory requirements.
At the same time, each individual Aboriginal Corporation manages its own day-to-day governance, community services, and operational matters. This structure allows each group to maintain autonomy while benefiting from shared strength and coordinated representation.
Protecting Country for Future Generations
Wanjina Wunggurr Country is not a resource to be managed. It is a living cultural landscape guided by ancestral law and ongoing custodianship. Our responsibility is to protect it. Our commitment is to future generations. Our work continues every day to ensure Country remains strong.
